Abstract
Reports on IEEE standards activities from a recent workshop held in Munich, Germany, entitled, “Standards for Connected and Autonomous Transportation: Nurturing the Era of e2e Mobility as a Service (MaaS).” The speakers represented a large number of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, including BMW, Jaguar Land Rover, Audi AG, IBM, Intel, NXP Semiconductors, Deutsche Telecom, Huawei, Amazon Web Services, and many more. Also reports on current development with 5G mobile communications as well as the activities of the Internet Engineering Task Force.
