Abstract
The authors investigate the impact of the Late Glacial and Early Holocene climate fluctuations on hunter-gatherer populations in northwest Europe. Radiocarbon dates are used as a proxy for past human activity. They try to understand the impact of these fluctuations with a dates-as-data approach to a large radiocarbon database.
