Abstract
For more efficient and frugal extraction of juglone from walnut green husk, combined ultrasonic and microwave method was employed in this paper. The types of solvent, solvent to sample ratio, ultrasonic time, ultrasonic power, microwave time and microwave power were selected for the single-factor test. By response surface methodology design, the optimum conditions were determined as ratio of solvent to sample 309.70:1, ultrasonic power 585.42 W, ultrasonic time 25.57 min, microwave time 103.27 s. In this condition, the actual content of juglone can reach to 836.45 μg/g.
