Abstract
This paper considers simultaneously the phenomena of forced and natural flow effects over an isothermal wedge. The analysis is restricted to situations in which the natural convection effects may be considered as a perturbation of the purely forced flow situation. Using this technique, a number of wedge angles are considered for laminar boundary-layer type flow. A Prandtl number of 0·73 was used and numerical results are presented for calculating surface shear and heat-transfer rates. Boundary-layer separation is also considered.
