Abstract

A methodical system for professional training of future teachers of higher education institutions has been developed on the basis of a combination of competence, contextual and acmeological approaches to professional training of future teachers of higher education institutions. This combination has a strategic focus on the formation of elements of the elaborated by the authors system of training future teachers of higher education by highlighting the integrated, general and professional competencies that need to be formed in these professionals, developing content, forms, methods and tools of this formation on a contextual and acmeological basis. The change of the structure of professional training of future teachers of higher education institutions is based on three changes in the educational process. The first change is based on the form of academic-type education, which reproduces mainly the academic form of teaching such as lectures or seminars, and thus undergraduates mainly have the ability to form general competencies. The second modification may be represented as an effective form of quasi-professional activity consisting in modelling and solving real educational situations by undergraduates and the comparative study of different systems of activities of teachers of higher education institutions. The third change is implemented through a comparative study of effective systems of higher education teachers, aimed at forming in the minds of graduates the elements of elaborated by the article’s authors system of higher education, ensuring their high personal and professional readiness for active interaction with students as the experts, «coaches», consultants, facilitators
