Abstract
The collision of optical solitons in a long haul transmission along trans-oceanic and trans-continental distances is studied in this paper, theoretically and numerically. The solitons travel through optical waveguides in a non-Kerr law media namely the power law, parabolic law and the dual-power law. The numerical results conform to the theoretical development.
