Abstract

Abstract The pairing degree of freedom is analyzed in the 88 ≦ A ≦ 96 region, involving the Zr, Mo and Ru isotopes. Two-particle transfer data populating J π = 0 + states are studied within a simplified rotation-vibration picture and the yrast treatment. A comparison with an exact diagonalization of the charge-independent pairing Hamiltonian is also performed.
