Abstract

After the Great Patriotic War, in Krasnoyarsk region the collective farms generated products not only for the needs of the population. As well they were produced goods for affected by the German-fascist invaders regions, provided them with assistance for the agriculture restoration. This challenge got complicated due of the lack of staff, workers, cattle, agricultural equipment. The condition was needed to be changed not only by organizational and economic strengthening of the collective farms themselves, but also by their consolidation. Krasnoyarsk region was choose as one of the few regions for the consolidation before the widespread program implementation. There was a difficult and painful process, which has not been properly studied by the Soviet historians as a separate problem. Beyond that, the issue didn’t exist as the priority object of research for the modern historians. Given the above, the specific character of the collective farms consolidation in Krasnoyarsk region still has not been explored. This research is based on archival materials, introduced into scientific field for the first time, and is devoted to the study of the collective farms consolidation process in the region, identify challenges and their solutions, the impact of this process on the postwar agriculture development in Krasnoyarsk region.
