Abstract
After more than 35 years of renovation, the collective economy has increasingly demonstrated its position and significant role in the national economy. However, under the strong impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution along with the rapid development of the economy, Vietnam’s collective economic sector still has been inadequate in quantity, size, quality and structure. The potential and advantages of the country have not been fully exploited. This article uses a number of methods such as analysis, synthesis, comparative statistics, logic - history... to synthesize and argue based on the compiled secondary data to clarify the results, limitations, and inadequacies, thereby proposing some solutions to improve the efficiency of the collective economic development in accordance with current development trends and situation.
