Abstract
SUMMARY This article surveyed the web pages of 124 libraries that are members of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL). The survey was looking to find collection policies or statements that might be available from the web pages of ARL libraries. The examination was hoping to find different examples of collection management statements that would range from the very detailed to nothing at all. It's hoped that the information gathered in this article will show the extent that major research institutions communicate collection management information using the electronic medium.
