Abstract
This contribution discusses collection development initiatives and acquisition of video game music resources at the University of North Texas (UNT) Music Library. The UNT Music Library has begun developing a collection of resources that support the study of video game music and sound design, and in the process, has tackled challenges including issues with various formats, questions of availability, and the feasibility of acquiring materials. The content of this contribution would be beneficial to anyone interested in starting a collection of these materials or the process of such development.
