Abstract

Abstract A study of the spin resonance and spin dynamics of the 3A ground state of the N-V center in diamond is reported utilizing techniques for the optical detection of magnetic resonance (ODMR) and spin coherent transients. In addition, in externally applied magnetic fields, the spin dynamics involved in observed cross-relaxation and level-anticrossing effects is investigated.
