Abstract

Social Internet of Things (SIoT) is an associative paradigm of social networking concepts in Internet of Things (IoT). In SIoT, physical devices act smartly as well as communally with effective navigability. Device recommendation, network navigability, relationship management, service discovery and trustworthiness management are the essential units of SIoT. In this work, an effective Cognitive based Device Recommendation (CDR) model for SIoT environment is proposed based on the user predilections and societal operability. The proposed method is evaluated using MIT dataset containing 161 sensors. Investigational results reveal that the CDR approach beats the state-of-art approaches with the reduction in mean absolute and root mean square errors.
