Abstract
The utility of metal atom vapour synthesis in the preparation of metalla-sulphur-nitrogen compounds has been investigated. Reaction of nickel atoms with disulphurdinitride, S2N2, gave, after extraction with methanol, Ni(S2N2H)2 in ca 15% yield.
