Abstract

The reaction of nickel atoms with t BuCP affords a mixture of the isomeric complexes [Ni(η 3-PC 2Bu t 2)(η 5-P 3C 2 t Bu 2)] and [Ni(η 4-P 2C 2Bu t 2) 2]. The former complex has been structurally characterised in the solid sate as its [W(CO) 5] adduct, which in solution undergoes fluxional behaviour. To cite this article: F.G.N. Cloke et al., C. R.
