Abstract
The Ordos Basin is the richest area of coal resources in China, which has an important position in China's coal resources prospecting and exploitation. Through the application of coalfield geology and geodynamics, this paper analyzes the distribution of coal resources of the Ordos Basin. It carries out the research in coalfield tectonic zoning, and the coal-bearing area is divided into five coal-bearing areas and four coal tectonic belts. The study of coal resources and tectonic division will contribute to the new understanding of the prediction and evaluation of coal resources of the Ordos Basin.
