Abstract

Since the first robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP) in 2000, the technique has quickly become the standard of care over traditional open surgery and pure laparoscopic surgery. Patient outcomes were analyzed to better understand the benefits of RALP compared to its predecessors.
