CMSE 2023 Preface

Abstract

The proceedings present 47 papers from the 12th Global Conference on Materials Science and Engineering (CMSE 2023), which was held on October 27-30, 2023 in Shenzhen, China. The conference was organized by Macao Association of Convention, Exhibition & Tourism Sectors and co-organized by Peking University Shenzhen Institute. Over 80 on-site and online participants from 18 countries (Belarus, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Turkey, UAE, and UK) have joined the conference and shared their latest research findings and state-of-art technologies on material science and engineering.During the four-day conference, four keynote speeches, 55 oral, and 24 poster presentations were presented in three sessions, mainly containing state-of-art research results and technologies on composite, structural, magnetic, and semiconductor materials, nanomaterials, their mechanical properties, characterization and testing, etc. We would like to acknowledge all authors for their valuable contributions.This compilation of the accepted papers was rigorously reviewed by the technical program committee and reviewers of the conference, considering the quality, novelty, breadth, and depth of the research themes, falling into the CMSE scope.
