Abstract

Nader Asnafi Editor, Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Mechanical, Electric and Industrial Engineering (MEIE 2021) and Conference Chair Professor, Örebro University, Örebro, SwedenEmail: Nader.Asnafi@oru.seThe Fourth International Conference on Mechanical, Electric and Industrial Engineering (MEIE 2021) was held successfully on 22-24 May 2021 in Kunming, China. This year’s conference was held as a hybrid conference to avoid international travelling during the COVID19 situation. Like previous years, a large number of researchers and application developers from the international academia and industry addressed both basic research and the societal/industrial-technological needs within mechanical, electric and industrial engineering.It attracted over 80 participants from 5 different countries and regions. Conference program was divided into 3 sessions: keynote speeches, oral presentations and poster presentations. We greatly appreciate Asso. Prof. Tangbin Xia from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, who presided over the conference, and all participants for attending and sharing!We are honored to invite 7 experts to give the impressive keynote speeches: Prof. Nader Asnafi from Örebro University, Sweden; Asso. Prof. Tangbin Xia from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China; Prof. Ji Wang from Ningbo University, China; Prof. Alam Md Mahbub from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China; Asso. Prof. Xiaogang Liu from Wuhan University of Technology, China; Prof. Weidong Zhu from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, USA and Prof. Sivakumar Rajagopal from Vellore Institute of Technology, India.Following the keynote speakers, 21 scholars made oral presentations respectively in the afternoon. And 7 poster presentations came after it. Reporters shared their latest research findings and audiences were actively involved in discussions.The proceedings of this conference comprise 120 accepted contributions from 230 submissions. We would like to express our gratitude to the reviewers of these manuscripts, who provided rational, constructive comments & suggestions to the authors. We were extremely grateful as the organizers and technical program committee who make this conference to an unforgettable experience for all participants. And extend our sincere thanks to the authors for their valuable contributions.
