Abstract
ABSTRACT: This article discusses arbitration used by Brazilian Federal Public Administration. The debate concerns the similarities and distinctions between arbitration governed by Law nº 9.307/1996 and established by administrative acts of the AGU. The Arbitration Panel has been operating since 2007 and article reviews some of the cases judged in order to compare them with others submitted to the Brazilian legal model.
