Abstract

Structural cluster approach to non-crystalline condensed systems of oxide materials has been introduced as a result of many years’ experience of authors in the complex oxide melts research field. Nanoclusters distributed in a quasi-gas matrix form the structure of an oxide melt, possess the oxygen atoms’ close packing of regular polyhedrons where cations occupy its cavities. Nanoclusters and quasi-gas matrix are in the state of diffuse equilibrium at continuous interaction with each other.
