Abstract

Resource cancelations happen all the time; however, assessing the outcomes of this process isn’t necessarily a priority. As our profession continues to move toward data supported decisions, how can we connect new data to decisions made 2–4 years ago? Western Carolina University will outline their approach to assessing their most recent cancelation decisions using interlibrary loan and historical journal price analysis data and discuss their plans for using key findings to plan for future collections reviews and to make budget asks.
