Abstract

The polynomial rooting based closed-form two-dimensional direction-of-arrival and polarization estimation of coexisted circular and noncircular (NC) signals for parallel uniform linear arrays of diversely polarized antennas is studied in this paper. Noncircularity phase could also be estimated for the strictly NC signals. No pair matching is needed for the proposed closed-form multidimensional parameter estimation method. Simulation results are included to illustrate the performance of the proposed method.
