Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical results of secondary intraocular lens with iris dia- phragm implantation after complicated ocular trauma. Methods 14 cases( 14 eyes) were retrospectively an- alyzed who were admitted to our hospital with diagnoses of complicated ocular trauma. Results The suc- cessful rate of the secondary intraocular lens with iris diaphragm implantation was 100%. Followed up for 3 -38 months,visual acuities were improved in 12 eyes(85.71% ) and no change in 2 eyes( 14.29% ). Pho- tophobia was relieved obviously in 12 eyes(85.71% ) and no change in 2 eyes( 14.29% ). Conclusion Secondary intraocular lens with iris diaphragm implantation is an effective treatment in the aniridia patients after complicated ocular trauma.
