Clinical observation of docetaxel combined synchronous radiation therapy in treatment of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical application value and significance by comparing the clinical effect of three dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy on locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods 60 patients with locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer treated in our hospital from December 2013 to December 2015 were selected as the research object.According to the method of random number, the patients were divided into control group and experimental group, 30 cases in each group.The patients in control group were treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and the patients in experimental group were treated with three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with docetaxel chemotherapy.After treatment, the clinical efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions, one-year and two-year survival rate and mortality rate of the two groups were compared to analyze the value and significance of three dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy for locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Results After treatment, the total effective rate in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (86.7% vs 56.7%, χ2=6.893, P 0.05). In the experimental group, one-year survival rate and mortality rate were 66.7% and 33.3%, two-year survival rate and mortality rate were 53.3% and 46.7%.In the control group, one-year survival rate and mortality rate were 43.3% and 56.7%, two-year survival rate and mortality rate were 33.3% and 66.7%.There was no statistically significant difference in one-year and two-year survival rates between the two groups (χ2=4.299, 4.443, all P<0.05). Conclusions The short-term therapeutic effect of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy is better for locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer.One-year and two-year survival rates are higher.It has certain clinical application value.
