Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of astragalus injection combined with trimetazidine for the treatment of acute viral myocarditis (AVM).Methods 102 patients with AVM were randomly divided into observation group and control group,51 cases in each group. The control group received conventional comprehensive treatment, the observation group received astragalus injection and trimetazidine treatment on the basis of the control group, the efficacy of the two groups were compared.Resnits The total clinical efficiency of observation group was 96.08%,significantly higher than 78.43% of the control group (P < 0.05).The total effective rate of ECG of observation group was 92.16%,significantly higher than 70.59% of the control group (P <0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome score of the observation group after treatment was significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05).The CK-MB,cTnI,cTnT and BNP levels of observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those of the before treatment, and these indices were significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05).The rate of adverse reactions of observation group was 5.88% and had no significant difference with 3.92% in the control group (P > 0.05).Conclusions Astragalus injection combined with trimetazidine for the treatment of AVM can improve the cardiac function and myocardial enzymes of patients, which has a significant effect and fewer adverse reactions, should be widely applied. Key words: Acute viral myocarditis; Astragalus injection; Trimetazidine; Clinical efficacy
