Clinical nursing care of patients with acute severe viral myocarditis

Abstract

Objective To summarize the experience in clinical nursing of patients with acute severe viral myocarditis.Methods In our hospital,64 cases of acute severe myocarditis patients were chosen as the research objects from June 2010 to June 2014.According to the admission order of the patients,they were divided into observation group and control group,32 cases in each group,the control group was given routine care,the observation group was given comprehensive nursing intervention.Nursing effects were compared between the two groups patients.Results In the observation group,the cure rate was 28.1％,the total effective rate was 87.5％,control group were 12.5％,62.5％,respectively.There was significant difference between two group(P ＜ 0.05).In observation group,3 cases died of acute heart failure,the mortality rate was 9.4％.In the control group,4 cases died,2 cases died of cardiogenic shock,the mortality rate was 12.5％.Fatality rate has no statistical difference(P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions According to the clinical characteristics of the patients with acute severe viral myocarditis,the implementation of comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively improve the clinical treatment effect,protect the patient's life and health,to improve the prognosis of patients.It is worthy of popularization and application.
