Abstract

Objectives To observe the clinical effect of calcium dobesilate combined with candesartan in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy(DN) and proteinuria. Methods 186 patients with early DN and proteinuria in our hospital were divided into two groups.94 cases in the control group were given candesartan 8 mg/d; treatment group, 92 cases in the treatment group were given dobesilate calcium 0.5g / times, and candesartan 8 mg/d three times a day.Two groups of patients were treated with insulin to lower blood sugar, with amlodipine besylate to reduce blood pressure, with atorvastatin calcium to drop lipids, with jinshuibao(Chinese patent drug) to protect kidneys, and other general treatments. Before and eight weeks after treatment, their serum creatinine(SCr), blood urea nitrogen(BUN), serum cystatin C(Cys C), urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER), 24 hours proteinuria(TP24h) were analysed. Results SCr, BUN, Cys C, UAER、TP24h, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). After treatment, the two groups of patients with SCr, BUN, Cys C, UAER、TP24h were decreased, the difference was statistically significant between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05). Conclusions Calcium dobesilate combined with candesartan on patients with early diabetic nephropathy with proteinuria is effective, and it is worth to promote in clinical. Key words: Diabetic Nephropathies; Calcium Dobesilate; Receptor, Angiotensin, Type 2
