Abstract

Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment, and pregnancy outcome of 23 cases of cerebral vascular diseases in the second trimester of pregnancy. Methods 23 cases of cerebral vascular diseases in the second trimester of pregnancy treated in our hospital from January 2013 to June 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. Referring to the medical record, made retrospective analysis questionnaire, retrospectively analyzed the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment situation, pregnancy outcome, and follow-up of cerebral vascular diseases in the second trimester of pregnancy. Results In 23 patients, there were 6 cases of disturbance of consciousness, 6 cases of nerve injury, 5 cases of blurred vision, 6 cases of nausea and vomiting. After corresponding treatment for patients with cerebral vascular diseases, 14 cases underwent induced abortion, all patients had good prognosis during follow up, without death cases. Conclusions Patients with cerebral vascular diseases in the second trimester of pregnancy in critical condition should be early diagnosed and treated to ensure the safety of pregnant women. After the condition is stable, we should comprehensively evaluate the necessity of induced abortion, choose appropriate methods of induced labor for the termination of pregnancy.
