Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of carbon nanoparticles negative development and autotransplantation with parathyroid gland in papillary thyroid carcinoma surgery. Methods From May 2014 to May 2017, clinical data of 134 cases with papillary thyroid carcinoma in PLA 251 hospital were analyzed retrospectively, Sixty-seven patients with carbon nanoparticles suspension injection negative development and autotransplantation with parathyroid gland were regarded as the carbon nanoparticles group, Sixty-seven with conventional operation were regarded as the control group. All data were analyzed by using SPSS 17.0 software. The miscut rate of parathyroid glands and the incidence of transient and permanent hypoparathyroidism after surgery in the two groups were analyzed by Chi-square test. A P<0.05 was considered as statically significant difference. Results The miscut rate of parathyroid glands in the carbon nanoparticles group was 10.44%(7/67), the incidence of transient hypoparathyroidism in the carbon nanoparticles group was 10.44%(7/67), the incidence of permanent hypoparathyroidism in the carbon nanoparticles group was 4.47% (3/67) which was significantly lower than those were 31.34% (21/67), 31.34% (21 /67), 21.89%(14/67) in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion In radical thyroid carcinoma surgery, parathyroid negative development with carbon nanoparticles suspension injection combined autotransplantation can reduce the damage of parathyroid gland and the incidence of perm anent hypoparathyroidismt so as to improve the safety of surgery.
