Abstract
Ischemic stroke is an important medical and social problem, due to the high incidence of morbidity, disability and mortality. The presence of motor, sensory disorders, cognitive and language disorders as clinical manifestations of ischemic stroke is correlated with high frequency disability.The article highlights the results of clinical and neurological examination of 60 patients with primary and recurrent ischemic stroke. The statistical processing of the material demonstrate the severity of neurological disorders, complaints, anxiety and cognitive disorders in patients with recurrent ischemic stroke, compared to the original.

Summary
В основу роботи покладено результати обстежен ня 60 хворих, в тому числі 33 (55 %) чоловіків і 27 (45 %) жінок, з локалізацією вогнища в півкулі, стовбурі мозку і мозочку, підтвердженої за допомогою КТ/ МРТ головного мозку. Хворі були розподілені на дві групи: перша група - 32 хворих з первинним II; друга група - 28 хворих на повторний II. В першу групу увійшло 18 (56,2 %) чоловіків, середній вік яких становив 63,7±1,4 років, і 14 (43,8%) жінок, середній вік яких становив 66,7±1,9 років. В другу групу увійшло 15 (53,6 %) чоловіків (середній вік 60,7±2,8 років) та 13 (46,4 %) жінок (середній вік 69,1±2,1 років). Згідно з рекомендаціями ВООЗ ішемічний інсульт розглядав ся як повторний у пацієнтів після 28 дня від попе реднього. Критеріями включення в дослідження були: підтверджене за допомогою КТ/МРТ ГПМК по ішемічному типу, вік від 45 до 75 років, добровільна інформована згода на включення в дослідження.
