Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of the urokinase intravenous thrombolysis therapy in treatment of acute myocardial infarction. Methods 80 patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)in our hospital from February 2005 to August 2008 were divided into two groups.42 patients in observe group were received urokinase(UK)intravenously and 38 patients in conventional conrol group were received the same treatment except urokinase thrombolysis. Results The recanalization rate of coronary artery was 66.7% in observes group and 15.8% in conventional control group. The mortality rate in four weeks was 4.8% in observe group and 18.4% in conventional control group. There was significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).The serious arrhythmia rate was 28.6% in observe group and 55.3% in conventional control group, which were also significant different(P<0.05).Conclusion The urokinase intravenous thrombolytic therapy can improve vascular recanalization rate of AMI,lower mortality, reduce the occurrence of heart failure, decrease adverse reactions and improve the quality of life, which is worth promoting among the grass-roots hospital. Key words: Acute myocardial infarction; Urokinase; Intravenous thrombolysis
