Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of artery chemoembolization in the treatment of cervical cancer.Methods Infusion chemotherapy and embolization were implemented in 28 patients with cervical cancer who admitted in our hospital from May 2009 to May 2012.After treatment for 14d to 21d,according to the clinical situation,choose to continue chemotherapy embolization or surgical treatment.Results 28 patients after implementation of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization therapy,the lumbosacral pain,vaginal fluid and bleeding were significantly improved with lesion subsided rate of 89.28% (25/28).25 patients received radical resection,the surgical results were satisfactory,the amount of bleeding was less.Conclusion Cervical arterial chemoembolization therapy can significantly improve patients' clinical symptoms,and enhance the effect of surgery,reduce the incidence of complications,which has positive significance in improving the quality of life.
