Abstract
Objective To discuss the diagnosis and therapy of corneal endotheliitis after cataract surgery.Methods The clinical manifestation and treatment of 5 patients (5 eyes) of corneal endotheliitis after cataract surgery were analyzed retrospectively.All the patients were treated with antiviral medicine,glucocorticoid and IOP-droping medication.The follow up period was 4 - 9 months.Results 5 patients ( 5 eyes) were cured without menifestation of recurrence.Conclusion Enough glucocorticoid can release inflammation of endothelial cell and trabecular meshwork quickly,control the intraocular pressure and retrieve the physiologic function of corneal endothelium.The antiviral and IOP-droping medication can make patients get favorable curative effect.
