Abstract
In November, 2021, world leaders came together to decide the course of the future of planet Earth by developing a plan of action to address the other ongoing pandemic—the climate crisis. This commitment was presented through the Glasgow Pact1 as an agreement signed by the almost 200 countries present at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of Parties (COP26). The chief outcome of the meeting was highlighting the need for remodelling across multi-sectoral systems. Notably, children and young people (aged 15–24 years) worldwide are among the most vulnerable populations at risk of being affected by the climate crisis, with the risk of their future becoming a tumultuous struggle in the next decade.
