Abstract

The coming into force of the Italian law 230/95 determined a series of cultural and behavioural consequences, in particular concerning the classification of the staff and the radiation risk indennity. These two situations are not complementary but declassing the staff intended for the Neuroradiology Unit from professions exposed (DPR 185/64) to B (DL 230/95) will have repercussion also on the specific professional indemnity. It is necessary not to underestimate the “classification problem” that will be formulated by the qualified expert and, therefore, a thorough verification of the report of the radioprotection supervision.
