Abstract
Cooperation between civil society and the public sector have long played a central role in migrants’ integration. This text explores what that relation has been like in the past, in the present, and what it might look like in the future, based on an interview with Mikael Johansson, representative of the umbrella organization Malmö ideella. While the text’s main focus is relations within the city of Malmö, the discussion is broadened to encompass more general conditions in contemporary Sweden.
