Abstract
The paper deals with the scientific, technical and basic problems of housing construction in the Kyrgyz Republic. Also, the basic urban planning and architectural principles and regulations were considered in conjunction with other scientific and practical issues of housing construction. On the problem under consideration, an analysis was carried out on the basis of international experience in the field of housing construction with certain conclusions as proposals for the prospective development of housing construction in the cities of Kyrgyzstan. The analysis of the basic principles of urban planning and architectural design of housing, at a certain historical stage in the development of Kyrgyzstan, and the regulatory and technical basis for design. The basic principles and preconditions for the proper provision of housing to the population, as well as urban planning and architectural principles and regulations for the sustainable development of housing construction in Kyrgyzstan.
