Abstract

Taking into account the influence of the cis-trans effect the authors discuss the patterns of the complex-radical cyclopolymerization of methylallyl esters of maleic and fumaric acids with maleic anhydride and styrene. The different behaviour of the fumaric and maleic multiple bonds in the reactions of complexing and cyclization has been recorded. It was established that the synthesized alternating cyclolinear copolymers are distinguished by the content and structure of the cyclic fragments in the macromolecule and also by the character of the unsaturation of the side reactive groups.
