Abstract
This poster will have pictures of healthcare providers involved in the care of a cancer patient. Students in the third-year class of the Michener/ Laurentian University Radiation Therapy program pose as different healthcare professionals involved in the continuum of care of the patient. The patient's image will be in the middle surrounded by the healthcare team to emphasize that the focus is the patient. The intention is to highlight the interdisciplinary healthcare team and its importance. Some crucial factors that need to be present among a healthcare team to provide better care to patients will be highlighted, eg, empathy, communication and trust.
