Abstract

Ramon Carrillo (1906-1956), an important Argentine physician, professor, scientist, health scientist and Minister of Health under the Peron administration, in Argentina, brought a new vision of public health for Latin America. With the fall of the Peronism, in 1955, Carrillo was exiled in the city of Belem, Para State, Brazil, where lived for about a year until his death.
