Abstract
The 31 st ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM 2022) was held in a hybrid format from the 17 th to the 21 st of October 2022. The physical venue of the conference was Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel in Atlanta Downtown. All the CIKM 2022 events besides the poster sessions were live streamed over Underline, an Internet-based virtual platform, which enabled attendees to attend the conference remotely---with two-way live communication, and real-time interactions, the virtual attendees enjoyed the full conference experience, making it the very first true hybrid (Physical and Virtual) edition of CIKM conference. CIKM traditionally holds once a year at different locations all over the world. It remains the only conference that focuses on the management of both structured and unstructured data accepting research papers covering database, information retrieval, and knowledge management sub-disciplines of Computer Science. Since it was first held in the United States in 1992, 30 previous editions of CIKM had been hosted in 11 countries.
