Abstract

«Chiral» symmetry for (2+1)-dimensional QCD is studied in large flavourN-limit, whereN is the number of two-component fermions. It is emphasized that, by finding a self-consistent approximate solution to Dyson-Schwinger equation withm≠0, «chiral» symmetry is spontaneously broken. Also the mass of the gauge bosons is generated by finding a non-zero value of the gauge self-energyII(k) atk=0.
