Abstract
From auxiliary to catalyst: Chiral sulfinamides have emerged as versatile organocatalysts showing both Lewis base and Lewis acid activation modes. The reactions highlighted here involve several highly enantioselective transformations, such as reduction of imines, CC-bond forming reactions, enantioselective protonation, [4+2] cycloadditions etc.
