Abstract

The phenomenon of child labor is one of the emerging phenomena that began its way to our Arab society to become a problem added to our intractable problems that need a decisive and rapid solution. Especially in the age group from 6 to 12 years. This research paper comes to highlight the most important sociodemographic and economic characteristics of child labor based on the database of the Sixth Cluster Survey 2019. The results of the study showed that the percentage of child labor is six times what was stated by official sources, and males are more likely to work in childhood compared to females, and the average age of workers is estimated to be approximately The north-central region is the most targeted area for child labor, and 22% of working children have functional difficulties
