Abstract

Abstract Insecticides were applied to mature sweet cherry trees in Douglas, MI at a rate of 100 gpa (200 gpa at bloom application) with a FMC 3000 CP airblast sprayer. Treatments were arranged in a completely randomized design of single trees replicated 4 times. Applications of all materials were made as indicated in the table on 1 May (Bloom), 9 May (PF), 20 May (1C), and 31 May (2C). Funginex and Rovral were applied separately to all treatments. Evaluations on 12 Jun were made by examining 100 cherries per replicate for plum curculio stings for a total of 400 cherries per treatment.
