Abstract
The syntheses and spectral characteristics of four-directional spherical dendritic macromolecules utilizing an adamantane core have been described.The dendrimer syntheses utilized 4-amino-4-(acetoxypropyl)-1,7-diacetoxyheptane or di-t-butyl 4-amino-2-[(tert-butoxycarbonyl)ethyl]heptadienoate as the building block.An improved synthetic procedure to 1,3,5,7-adamantanetetracarboxyliquee acid is reported
