Abstract
AbstractPhase pure nanoparticles of Bi2MoO6 and Bi2Mo3O12 are prepared in a continuous hydrothermal flow synthesis reactor from solutions of acidified Bi(NO3)3 and basic H2MoO4 with Bi:Mo ratios of 2:1, and 2:3, respectively, using supercritical water of 375—450 °C at a pressure of 24.1 MPa as a crystallization medium (82 and 86% yield of Bi2Mo3O12 and Bi2MoO6, respectively).
