Abstract

AbstractCondensation of N‐substituted anthranilic acids (I) with symmetrical phthaloyl dichloride (II) yields the spiro‐phthalidyl benzoxazinediones (III) which are considered as antimicrobial agents, in view of their similar structure to griseofulvin.
