Abstract
AbstractThe hydrothermal reaction of GeO2, Cd(O‐Ac)2, and Me‐(CH2)15NMe3Br (pH 8 adjusted with NaOH, autoclave, 100 °C, 24 h) yields Cd2Ge2O6, which is subsequently reduced via thiourea decomposition in a horizontal silica tube (400‐500 °C, 30 min) to produce nanostructured Cd4GeS6 with a direct band gap.
